DENVER (KDVR) — A juvenile female and an adult male were found shot and transported to the hospital in the Federal Boulevard and Bates Avenue area on Monday evening, Denver police reports.
Investigators blocked off the parking lot outside of a Little Caesars restaurant.
Employees, who wish to remain anonymous, tell FOX31 one of the victims ran into the store after shots were fired.
“We were working and we heard gunshots. And then we went to see what it was and the guy that got shot he ran in our store,” said one employee. “He said to call his mom and let her know that he got shot.”
The two witnesses say the second victim was a young girl.
The condition of both parties is unknown. Authorities say no arrests have been made.

DENVER (KDVR) — A girl who was shot while sitting in the backseat of a van near a Little Caesars in southwest Denver on Monday night is only 3 years old, Denver police confirmed on Thursday.
Witnesses identified her as a young girl and the other victim as an adult male. A Little Caesars employee reported that the man ran in the restaurant and “He said to call his mom and let her know that he got shot.”
The condition of the toddler was reported as critical on Tuesday. Officials report that the man who was shot was treated and has been released from the hospital.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20’s and police are looking for a 2000-2004 red Subaru Outback possibly associated with the shooting.
