Case Synopsis: On August 16, 1996, a friend discovered Lorrain E. Cheshire deceased in her apartment located at 1205 Sheridan Blvd. Lorraine was an assistant manager at the apartment complex. Suspect(s) have yet to be identified in the murder of Lorraine. The apartment complex, 1205 Sheridan Blvd. no longer exists.
Last Update: 12/15/2023: This case was initially approved by the board in 2022, at which time MDCS funded the initial review of the case. The next stages will include Whole Gene Sequencing. Mitch believes it’s the best chance to get sufficient data to solve the case. The expected cost for WGS is expected to be an additional $5,000.00
